Dear Partners,

Although much of Europe seems to be impacted by a 3rd wave of the Covid-19 virus, Russia is looking increasingly optimistic with the figures not indicating any large increases in infections yet. Russians are optimistic that they will be able to travel internationally by the summer of 2021, as more destinations open up.

The main unknowns are when the Russian government will lift a blanket ban on international travel, or they will continue to make agreements with individual countries as a way of resuming mutual tourist traffic. Also, another issue is the acceptance of Russian administered Covid vaccines, which will allow Russians to travel in Europe without quarantine.
