As it was anticipated, Russia is opening up travel corridors with a number of countries in August, starting with Turkey, the UK and Tanzania. The Maldives and South Korea are likely to come next. Russians wait in hope on the decision of the EU about the admission of third countries to the EU area in early August, but some experts believe the EU will open to Russian travellers not earlier than the end of August.

Meanwhile, Russian economy is starting to recover from several months of lockdown but it seems that Russians are being quite conservative when it comes to spend on leisure activities and that almost half of the population only has a budget of 550 US dollars per person.
