Although Russia has not been included in the list of 15 safe countries that visit the EU area from 1st  of July, the travel industry is still optimistic that it will be included by August (the list is reviewed every 14 days) and that by August international flights will start to various short haul destinations. The industry is still confident that Turkey will open up by mid-July, while other destinations like the Maldives are already open for Russian travel.

We expect July to be a crucial month for Russia to make decisions about the time-table for international travel, winter destinations are being more actively promoted, as some clients prefer to book a holiday based on more concrete dates. We will be back in touch with more information by mid-July. If you are interested in a more tailor-made research for your specific destinations, please do not hesitate to contact me.
