We would like to again share some key information about the Russian outbound travel market, how Russia is coping with Covid-19, its economic impact and how the Russian travel industry sees developments. The current lock-down has been extended until May 11th (much as expected). Moscow continues to be the epicentre of the disease and as a result the strictest social isolation measures. We expect in the next 10 days, for the Russian government to outline its post-covid-19 strategy, after which destinations will be able to start planning their new marketing strategy for Russia.
As many of you came back to us with questions for more in-depth information for the development of your future marketing strategy, we will be carrying out a more in-depth research in May about the Consumer sentiment and travel trends in the Russian market, you will be able to purchase access to this market intelligence in early June. Please contact me directly, if you are interested in a tailor-made bi-monthly Market up-dates with a specific focus on a specific destination or product.
In the meantime, keep safe and get in touch if you require any additional information.
