Aeroflot opens new flights to Verona and Napoli from Moscow
Aeroflot, Russian’s national airline will open direct flights to Napoli and Verona from Moscow. The new regular flight is planned on the 1st of July. Italy is one of the most popular tourist destinations in Russia and last year saw a 20% increase in visitors. The entry of Aeroflot, will create more competition for the Russian carrier S7 which already flies to Verona and numerous other destinations in Italy. It also shows the start of the dominance of regular carriers from Russia which have taken over the routes which were previously dominated by charter operators from Russia or low-cost airlines from Italy.
S7 airline launches a regular flight from St. Petersburg to Pula, Croatia, on a weekly basis, this is likely to increase the number of visitors to Croatia which took a major dive after Croatia introduced visas for Russians back in 2013.
Low cost Airline Pobeda starts flight to Berlin, Varna and Bordeaux
The Russian low-cost airline Pobeda will start to fly from Moscow to Berlin, Bordeaux and Varna. Flights will operate on a daily basis to Varna, twice a week to Bordeaux from April 1st to October 27, 2018.
S7 launches flights to Barcelona from St. Petersburg
Starting the 27th of April, S7 started direct regular flights from St. Petersburg to Barcelona. The flight will be operated twice a week: on Tuesdays and Fridays. There will also be a new flight to Alicante launched by S7.Ђ Back to journal
